ABOUT USThe association is affiliated to the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the Northern Ireland Region WA1500. We have three 25metre and two 50metre outdoor ranges at our site on the Buskhill Road, Donaghmore, Newry, Co. Down, BT34 1SD. The Buskhill Road is located seven miles north of Newry and seven miles south of Banbridge just off the main A1 dual carriageway. We cater for most full bore calibre pistols as well as small bore rifles and air rifles. See below for opening times. Safety is paramount, and the club benefits from having among its membership 5 NRA qualified instructors and assessors to provide club safety courses. The courses enable members to proceed to competition level, both at home and abroad. Precision Pistol and other competitions such as Police Pistol, Service Pistol, Practical Pistol and small-bore bench rifle are held on a monthly basis. RANGE OPENING TIMESSummer time range hours are Wednesday 18.00 to 21.00 and Saturday 10:00 to 18:00. Winter time range hours are Friday 13.00 to 16.00 and Saturday 10:00 to 17:00. Also note that club firearms and ammunition will only be available on Saturdays.
